Air Canada’s direct flights to China fuses! 10 confirmed cases on plane.

According to the latest report from the Civil Aviation Administration of China,

8 passengers were diagnosed with corona virus on Air Canada flight AC025 (Vancouver-Shanghai route) on December 25; Air Canada flight AC025 (Vancouver-Shanghai route) on December 29 was confirmed with 17 cases. The Civil Aviation Administration of China implemented circuit breaker measures for the above-mentioned flights: from January 10, the operation of Air Canada AC025 (entry on December 25) will be suspended for 2 flights; from January 17, Air Canada AC025 (December 29) will be suspended. Japan inbound) flights operate 4 times. The circuit breaker flight volume shall not be used for other routes.

Due to the severe outbreak of the pandemic in North America,

the Civil Aviation Administration of China has implemented circuit breaker measures on several flights to Shanghai.

Since December 21 last year, on several flights from New York, Dallas, Vancouver, and San Francisco to Shanghai, up to 46 passengers have been diagnosed. According to relevant regulations, since January 10, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has implemented circuit breaker measures on relevant flights, involving airlines including China Eastern Airlines, American Airlines, Air Canada, and United Airlines. According to the latest report from the Civil Aviation Administration, on January 3, Etihad Airways flight EY862 (Abu Dhabi to Shanghai) confirmed 9 cases; on January 3, Swiss International Airlines flight LX188 (Zurich to Shanghai) confirmed 6 cases; 7 cases were confirmed on United Airlines flight UA857 (San Francisco to Shanghai) on January 3; 9 cases were confirmed on January 3, China Eastern Airlines MU570 (Paris to Shanghai).  According to the “Notice of the Civil Aviation Administration on the Trial Implementation of the Adjustment of Circuit Breaker Measures for International Scheduled Passenger Flights” (Civil Aviation Letter [2021] No. 278), circuit breaker measures are now implemented for the above-mentioned flights. details as follows:

1. From January 24, Etihad Airways flight EY862 will be suspended for 2 flights. The blown flight volume shall not be used for other routes. 

2. From January 24, the operation of Swiss International Airlines flight LX188 will be suspended for 2 times. The blown flight volume shall not be used for other routes. 

3. From January 24th, the operation of United Airlines flight UA857 (inbound on Monday) will be suspended for 2 flights. The blown flight volume shall not be used for other routes. 

4. From January 24, the operation of China Eastern Airlines flight MU570 will be suspended for 2 times. The blown flight volume shall not be used for other routes. The above-mentioned airlines should do a good job in providing services such as reassurance for passengers on subsequent flights and ticket refunds and changes. At the same time, the Civil Aviation Administration also announced a number of flight schedules that have received circuit breaker instructions.
